Buonasera da Firenze!

After a long overnight flight, we landed safely at Fiumicino Airport in Rome this afternoon - tired but thrilled to be here. The journey didn’t end there, though. We hopped on a private charter and made our way to Florence, watching the Italian countryside roll by.

Once we arrived, we headed straight to our hotel to check in and freshen up. The charm of Florence was already pulling us in.

We wrapped up the day with a delicious dinner nearby, soaking in our first real taste of Italy. They were all stunned when they learned that the numerous plates of carbonara was only but the first course (our table extended well to the end of the restaurant).

Everyone is checked into their rooms and ready to start our in-person classes tomorrow.

Ciao,
Nicholas
